Try Big Tex free for 30 days.
A remote onboarding audit, your first four calls, a property dashboard and a written scorecard you keep. No card, no setup fee, no obligation.
- $0 for the full 30 days
- No card asked for, now or later in the trial
- You keep the scorecard whether or not you continue
We start up to three new properties a month, so each trial gets real attention. Requests are answered within one business day.
Your trial request is in.
An advisor will reply within one business day to confirm a start date and book your kickoff call. The 30 days start at kickoff, not today.
What happens in your 30 days.
The trial is the real onboarding, not a sales process. Here is the calendar, from kickoff to the day it ends.
Days 1 to 7
Kickoff and document request
A kickoff call with the decision-maker. We agree on goals for the property and send a short document request.
Days 7 to 14
Remote onboarding audit
We review operations, staffing, systems, standards and the numbers you sent, then follow up with your GM where we need to.
Day 14
Written scorecard
A plain-language scorecard: what is working, what needs attention and what we would do first. It is yours to keep.
Days 15 to 25
Up to two more calls, dashboard live
Your property dashboard goes live and we hold up to two more calls on the priorities in the scorecard.
Day 25
Decision conversation
We recommend a plan, or tell you plainly if you do not need one. You decide whether to continue.
Day 30
Trial ends, you keep the scorecard
If you do nothing, the trial simply ends. No bill, no follow-up sequence, and the scorecard stays with you.
What you need to provide.
A useful scorecard needs real numbers. Three things from you make the 30 days count.
A decision-maker on the calls
The owner, or someone who can act for ownership. Your GM is welcome too, but the recommendations are written for whoever signs the checks.
Documents within 5 business days
- Recent P&L statements
- STR report for your comp set
- Payroll summary
- Org chart
- Read-only access to your PMS
Permission to share third-party documents
Some reports, such as STR data or a management company’s statements, carry their own terms. Confirm you are allowed to share them with an outside advisor before you send them.
After the trial.
If you continue, billing starts on day 31 at launch prices, month to month, with 30 days’ notice to leave. Every plan is a flat fee per property, never a share of revenue.
Fractional Regional Director of Operations
$995/mo per property
No setup fee. Remote oversight: four calls a month, the dashboard, reporting, hiring advice and an annual visit.
Fractional Hotel Management Company
$2,495/mo per property
Plus $2,495 one-time on-site onboarding, travel at cost. Unlimited calls, two on-site visits a year, P&L and payroll oversight.
Fractional Director of Sales
$1,495/mo per property
Four focused hours a week of remote sales leadership, added to either plan.
Portfolio Partnership
Custom for 5+ properties

Questions about the trial.
Is it really free?
Yes. The audit, the calls, the dashboard and the scorecard cost nothing. There is no setup fee and nothing is billed during the 30 days.
Do I need a card?
No. We do not ask for payment details to start a trial. Billing details come up only if you choose a plan.
What if I don’t continue?
Nothing happens. The trial ends on day 30, you keep the written scorecard, and there is no cancellation step and no follow-up sequence.
Do you take control of my hotel?
No. Big Tex is an advisory firm, not a management company. You keep control of the property. We do not run payroll, employ your staff or sign contracts on your behalf.
Is my data confidential?
Yes. What you share is used only to run your trial and is never sold or shared for marketing. PMS access is read-only. Our trust and data page explains how documents are handled.
Why only three a month?
Each trial includes an audit, four calls and a written scorecard from an experienced operator. Capping new starts keeps that work thorough. If the month is full, we offer the next open start date.
Can a hotel run by a management company do the trial?
Yes. Many owners want an independent read on how their management company is doing. Ownership requests the trial, and you confirm you are allowed to share the company’s reports with us.
What happens on day 31?
Only what you chose on day 25. If you picked a plan, monthly billing starts at launch prices. If you did not, the trial is over and nothing is billed.
Ready when you are.
Thirty days of real oversight, a scorecard you keep, and a straight answer on whether your property needs us.
